Our Programs

We believe that food creators and visual builders are the artists who inspire us and create infrastructure for meaningful experiences for young and old. People of color, Women, and LGBTQ+ are represented among these contributions and as economic impacts hit they are some of the first folks to be unfairly disadvantaged. We are also actively supporting the work of visual and structural artists that translate story into physical form through murals, gallery exhibits, and immersive community events.

Activating sustainable artistry

  • Urban Farming and Food Distribution

Join hands with us to feed and nourish our Bay Area community powered by community donors, collaborations with food creators, restaurants, food banks, artists and local leaders.

  • Micro-Spaces, Affordable Business Footprints

Sanctuary has received grants of first floor retail space from local partners to fill with vibrant businesses and artist merchants. Selected businesses will activate within our affordable spaces with support to operate and grow.

We are doing the work to repair the damage of many years not providing sustenance to artists and food creators who impact our daily life and communities.
